Good.

I'm good. After stressing [see post: Sick.], I got to school on time, got my HW done because I did the work in class, so all I had to do was type it, and I had a classmate help me finish the graph so that it could look that much better. Handed it in, but even if I hadn't, teacher gave us one more day to do it due to Mount St. Michael winning the Turkey Bowl. Yes.

Wanted V.

Anyone who is around me knows I like Burberry. Only problem is that I own nothing from them. Hopefully that will change because I'm going to get a polo for Christmas...or around then. Later in life [hopefully college], I'll get a job, and one of the things I'll get when I save up enough is a Burberry trench coat. They're like...iconic and stuff and let's be honest, they look really good. And I found one for under $1,000 [hooray for me]. If you want it though because you get money like that, buy it.

Sick.

There I was, sitting in my chair, listening to Sports, Drugs, and Entertainment by Cam'Ron [via YouTube], when I decide to look on Facebook and see someone talk about Statistics. For some reason, that compelled me to check edline to see if I had any. Sure enough I did. So I'm like "OH CRAP!!!!" and go to my bookbag to get my books. Guess what? No books [me = -_______________-]. So now the only solution that I could find would be to try to get to school really early and get to a computer so that I could type out my HW [if I didn't do it in class] and be able to print it so that I don't get a 0 on it. Pray for me.

A new mixtape by Lupe Fiasco called "Enemy of the State: A Love Story". I listened to it, it was great. I advise you to listen also. Download here.

Turkey Bowl.

Today was a good Thanksgiving Day. I hope you all enjoyed yours as mush as I did mine. The main point of this is to talk about the annual Mount vs. Haynes rivalry that played out today, known as the Turkey Bowl. Saw a lot of people I knew, enjoyed a good game of football. Mount did their job, plain and simple. Defense did so well, and helped us to secure a 28-22 victory. Of course, we all know that this win was for the memory of #45, Kyle Rembert. Good job in bringing the trophy back where it belongs Mount.

I'm always mad [in a way]. This is because I'm not well off, don't have a job, and don't get $200+ allowances a week. Anyone who is around me knows that 5/7 days, I'll ask them if they want to buy something from me, or if they know of any job openings. And most times every time that I do, it's in vain. I was gassed in September when I went to a company in Mount Vernon for an interview and thought that I would possibly be getting employment. Well...that didn't work out for me. Another part of it is that I'm not a people person, but I'm working on that day by day. College, clothes, electronics, etc., all cost money. Which I don't have. Hopefully, by the grace of God, I can change this in the future, so that I'm never worrying about having an adequate amount. But for now, job searches and asking people if they want CD's is in full force.

Rambling.

As I sit here listening to my iTunes and attempting to finish my homework for the weekend, I'm thinking about everything. I mean everything. Like what-ifs and should-happens and all of that stuff that people really shouldn't do but I do anyway. I've noticed that music is one of the few things that I can thoroughly enjoy in life, or I'd probably end up being a more violent guy who'd do some crazy stuff. Anyway, the senior year of high school is okay so far. A lot of work, but school is a lot of work itself, and college will probably definitely be more work than I can fathom right now. Also, I'm weighing out my options. Whether I should major in music or art. Music would be sound engineering or something like that, and art would be graphic design. I have to get on drawing some still life art and maybe an abstract piece or two. That brings me to the college essay. Anyone who knows me knows that I loathe essays. Whoever thought of the essay, why? But I know I must do it anyway so I'll get working on it. At some point. So point of the post: music is great and college application process makes me angry. End rant.

More.

If a store makes you leave your things at the door, and your property gets thieved because of it, that makes the store responsible obviously. So why do they take so long to do anything? My friend was the victim of a larceny recently, and the store seems to be taking forever to replace his things. And now that he remembers everything that was in his bag when it was stolen, they're telling him that he can't be "coming up with new things". I understand how someone might try to cheat the system by saying all of a sudden something weird like "I had some Space Jam 11s in my bag! That's $300!", but obviously it was truthful. So whatever, the store is overpriced as it is, so there's boycott of sorts against the store, so the situation should resolve itself soon. Hopefully it doesn't amount to a lawsuit.

Chicken & Fries.

It must be me, but Cam'Ron looks type homeless in this video lol. Still though, this is one of the best songs from The Clipse in a minute.

Nice III.

New Balance 996. The grey works really well with the yellow, and the design is definitely classic. It's suede and mesh, a good mixture of materials. Yeah...well the point of this is that they look good and if you want them, get them for $90.

New.

It's almost 2010. This whole Mr. Argyle thing is sort of working, but not really. Therefore I'm now using my actual name on my blog posts. I'm Shomar, and the first step in maturity is letting people know that I am Shomar, not concealing myself with a pseudonym. Even though I may keep the Argyle thing up, I know, and everyone that knows me knows that I am Shomar, and I'm making that apparent now.

Wanted IV [Winter Edition].

Back again with the Polo Ranger boots. These though...they have shearling inside them. Keeps your foot warm, because it's sheepskin. So if you want some Polo boots that would be guaranteed to keep your feet warm during winter, get them for $179.

Heh.

Well...some video by some Sudanese rapper named Bangs. Kind of funny. Laughs are what I need for like the next week or so. Especially since school was so depressing today.

Junior at our school, Kyle Rembert, died this morning, apparently of carbon monoxide poisoning. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say he will be truly missed. Even people like me who've only spoken to him once or twice can tell that he was a good person. R.I.P., and screw 2009 on the real. Good thing this necropolis year is almost over.

Wanted IV.

The Polo Ralph Lauren Ranger boots. They've been available for purchase for a while. I only started liking them like late September when I saw them in person at BX Sports on Jerome Avenue. These have a prep appeal to them I think, like you see someone outside wearing these with a peacoat and it just looks right. Anyway, they're $150, and you can get them many places, including here.

Nice II.

Air Jordan Retro XII [12]. Known as the Flu Game XII after this. I have to admit, these look really clean. I see that they added a sick face on the tongue [haha...] and numbers on the back that represent the year and the # of points Jordan scored. These don't really take too much away from the shoe though and it's significance to people. You want them, get them here.

Wanted III.

Asics Gel Lyte III x CultureShoq. The 1st of the Ronnie Fieg collaborations, which included the NiceKicks one that released in October and the HighSnobiety ones that are soon to be released [even though they only showed a little glimpse of them]. I missed out on the NiceKicks ones and I got curved on the CultureShoq ones...smh =[. Anyway, I found them again and hopefully they stay in full run of sizes so that I can fulfill my promise to myself to get these.
